Ninja Kidsoul
Ninja Kidsoul (Ahmad Abdul Mateen AliNur) is a German-American R&B and Neo-Soul artist from Schweinfurt, Germany. Born to an American father and a German mother, his musical journey began under the influence of his grandmother’s love for Motown classics. In 2016, he gained initial recognition through a COLORS session, showcasing his unique blend of soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. His debut EP, “Never Really Gone,” released in 2023, was produced entirely by agajon. Ninja Kidsoul has collaborated with producer Qadir Bijoux and artist agajon, and continues to evolve his sound, drawing inspiration from a rich tapestry of musical influences.

Ninja Kidsoul’s music is a harmonious fusion of classic and contemporary influences. Deeply inspired by 70s funk, his tracks like “Zone” reflect the groovy rhythms reminiscent of that era. The influence of legendary producers J Dilla and Madlib is evident in songs like “Gap Shit,” where intricate beats and soulful samples create a nostalgic yet fresh soundscape.
His admiration for Frank Ocean shines through in “Reckless,” showcasing emotive storytelling and innovative production. Additionally, “Face 2 Face” pays homage to Sergio Mendes, blending Brazilian rhythms with modern neo-soul elements.
Ninja Kidsoul describes his artistic pursuit as a quest to find “a frequency sound of music that hasn’t been touched yet,” a dedication that is palpable throughout his discography.
